Then Saturday, Hailey and boys came to Seattle. We met at Discovery Park for a hike and picnic. They kids were great and made it most of the 3 mile hike with help. The evening Nathan made carde asada and the kids played in the blow up pool in our yard. They were so excited about the pool.
Hailey and I were woken early by our children so we treated ourselves to Cafe Besula croissants before church, yummy! The line went clear out the door and was full of men! Cafe Besula is a French bakery in Ballard. It's amazing!
We went to church together at St. Bens and surprisingly the kids did great! After church, we celebrated with a delicious Swedish Club brunch at Sharron's house. Sharron and Gayle treated us to the delicious meal in Sharron's gorgeous backyard garden. Her yard is the most beautiful yard I've seen. It is bursting with plants and flowers. Sharron insists that she doesn't do anything to make it look that way, but it looks like she must spend hours tending, watering and weeding. The kids ran around the yard, we opened some Mom's day gifts and enjoyed the warm day. I gave Hailey a pretty necklace with the boys' initials on it. It looks beautiful on her.
Hailey, you're an amazing mother. I've learned so much from you. I'm so blessed to share motherhood with you. Love you, sis!
Mom, you've been so supportive of Hailey and I. Thank you for everything you do for our kids. You make them each feel so special. I love you, Mom!
Sylvia, I couldn't ask for a more kind and generous mother-in-law. I enjoy spending time with you. Thank you for our Tuesday Grandma days. We love you!
