Look Who's Turning 30!

My Oh My, you're 30! Hailey, I can't believe that we really are grow ups!  I suppose since we each have 2 kids, you could call us grown up, but it still is strange to think of you as 30.  I always could see myself as 30, but my little sis...not so much.  Well things have definitely changed in our relationship since we were kids.  You use to just bug me since you were so lovie and clingy.  I didn't really take you seriously or appreciate that affectionate quality you have, you were just my annoying little sister.  But since college, you and I have become best friends.  I now think of you as my big sis in many ways.  I go to you for advice, encouragement, a listening ear and support.  You openly challenge me to be a better person, step out of my comfort zone, try new things and lighten up :) You have inspired me to seek a deeper faith in God, pray for guidance, trust God and love more.  I couldn't be prouder of you who you are.  You are amazing!  And gorgeous!!  I love you to pieces.  This post is dedicated to you, Hailey. Happy Birthday!

As you know, when Sofia was baptized I chose a verse to encourage her on her walk with God.  I chose these verses for you because if reminded me of you.  You put your trust in God and expect Him to answer.  You wait, even when you don't want to, to hear God's answer for you.  When you just don't have the words to pray, you can read this.  I hope it is encouraging and reminds you that God is with you always.  There is nothing to fear. Psalm 27

The Lord is my light and my salvation;
    whom should I fear?
The Lord is my life's refuge;
    of whom should I be afraid?
When evildoers come at me

My foes and my enemies
