Thanksgiving 2012

I am thankful for so much in my life.  This Thanksgiving reminded me to thank God every day for my blessings and appreciate all the good in my life.  I'm at a really great time in life.  I'm home with my girls which I absolutely love.  I honestly don't miss teaching.  I feel like the educator in me is always looking for ways to learn and teach even if I'm not at school.  My two favorites places to take the girls are the zoo and the library.  It's such a simple way to teach the girls about the love for learning.  Linnea and I just picked at 9 wonderful Christmas books for us to enjoy this December.  Legend of the Candy Cane by Lori Walburg, Mr. Willaby's Christmas Tree and Pussy Cat's Christmas are new favorites.
I'm so thankful for Nathan, my sweetie!  Nathan started a new job which will alleviate some financial pressure and will give Nathan a challenge.  His work at Greenpoint Technologies in Kirkland will be very similar to his work at Boeing, but it's a much smaller company.  I'm so thankful for his willingness to take risks, like going to Law School and seeking a new job.  I'm really proud of him!
I'm thankful for my whole family, Oines' and Dimmitts.  Each person is unique and special.  I love that our family keeps growing in size and love.
I'm thankful for my special sister, my best friend, who keeps me honest, encourages me, helps me grow in faith, a model of motherhood and blesses me by just being herself.  I love you, sis!
I have wonderful friends who have been there for me through the years.  I love you friends for who you are, your care, your prayers and all the fun we've had and will have together!
I'm thankful for simple things...coffee, clean sheets, crisp apples, reading a book, bedtime songs, an "I love you!" and cycle class :)
I'm thankful God loves me.  What an amazing thing to be loved by God!  I take so much comfort in that.  I pray that I'll make Him proud and get better every day at loving Him and other people.

Some Thanksgiving photos, but unfortunately I didn't get the people!
Aunt Sharron, Aunt Gayle, Mom, Dad, Hailey, Isaac, Eli, Heidi, Wilson and us.

Linnea and I made these turkeys for the party.
Check out their names that Linnea chose and wrote!
