Great Wolf Lodge

Thank you Mom and Dad for the wonderful trip to Great Wolf Lodge!  It was a dream come to true for the kids!

Top Ten Tips for a Successful Great Wolf Lodge Visit...

10. BYOB or wine or margarita mix
9. Go with a group so that the adults can have fun too.  Otherwise your stuck in the kiddy area.
8. Bring a cooler with lots of food and snacks.  We ate most meals in the room and had one okay meal at the cafeteria style restaurant.
7. Avoid the weekend if you can, it's insanely loud and crowded with kids of all ages!!!
6. No need to go tanning or spray tan, everyone there is sporting their NW pale skin :)
5. Bring extra binkies and children's Tylenol.  Sofia had a cold and has been teething so she cried for hours the first night.
4. No need to bring kid life jackets or beach towels, they are provided.
3. Don't let your toddlers anywhere near the elevator buttons.  Eli managed to call press the emergency button, not once but THREE times which calls out to the police station.  Quite embarrassing!
2. Expect it to be wild and not that relaxing.  It's all about the kids on this trip and there are kids everywhere!!!
1. Go down the Tornado Waterslide with 3-4 people.  Oh My Gosh, it was the scariest, most fun I've ever had on a waterslide.  You are tightly holding on the to a circular flat rift going down a huge tube, when all of a sudden you plunge down a steep drop off.  I loved seeing my Dad's face as he screamed!
