Powdered Sugar

This week I made norweigen pancakes for Linnea and I one morning.  Nathan and I enjoy this goofy food program called New Scandinavian Cooking.  I learned about his yummy recipe there.  As I was serving the pancakes to Linnea, with a squirt of lemon and a dash of powder sugar, Sofia cried out from upstairs.  Linnea was content and secured in her seat, so I skipped upstairs to get Sofia.  From upstairs I called out, "Do you like the pancakes?"  "Yeah, Mommy!"  I was hoping she was actually eating, because often she needs prompting to get going and eat.  A moment later I was coming back downstairs.  Linnea looked up at me and said, "Yummy, Mommy!" as she sucked her pointer finger.  On her plate was a mountain powdered sugar on her pancake.  There was about half the box of powdered sugar on her plate.  I couldn't be mad, it was just too funny.  Next time I'll remember to keep the box out of reach!
