Andy Altenhofen turns ONE!

My friend Mikki is the most amazing themed party hostess.  For her son's 1st birthday she transformed her home into Dr. Seuss world.  The treats, decorations, Andy's outfit and games were all Dr. Seuss theme.  Mikki made cupcakes that looked like they were topped with Who-hair.  On top of the cupcake tower sat the "Cat in the Hat" hat.  Dr. Seuss' books were propped up around the party.  A mobile for fish from "One Fish, Two Fish" hung in the middle of the room.  Pin the Star on the Sneech was the featured game.  Mikki made a gorgeous chocolate cake with a special frosting called fondant.  You have to roll it out and it looks smooth like a wedding cake.  The cake had Suess fish on top.  What fun!!  Linnea loved the party, especially the part where she tried to open all of Andy's presents.  I don't think Andy will be as patient with her next year!  Thank you Mikki for inviting us to Andy's party!
