Surprise!

Nathan, Linnea and I had spent a great family weekend visiting our friends Sara, David and Elina in Camas, WA on President's Day weekend.  When we got home I usually am too tired to do anything but had a burst of energy, so started to unpack from our trip.  As I rounded the corner of the top flight stairs to our bedrooms with a few bags, I noticed some things on the floor.  "Hmmm, I don't remember putting those there" I thought.  As I looked up from the floor towards Linnea's room, I saw the most beautiful little girls' room, totally redone with light pink paint, pictures on the walls and furniture moved to fit a crib and toddler bed.  As I let out a scream of joy I knew that my sister and mom had made this possible.  I couldn't stop screaming in delight and tears were filling my eyes.  How amazing!  I love it!  Above both beds were the girls' names in wooden letters hung by little ribbons.  There were three pictures on the wall of the Linnea flower and butterflies that were hand painted by Hailey's student.  The big middle picture had the quote, "Sisters- Different flowers in the same garden."  Hailey spent so much time putting all the pieces together and planning all the details.  Mom and Hailey had put the whole thing together in just 5 hours!  Thank you!  Thank you!  I feel so loved and special.  It will be a special story to share with Sofia some day.

Linnea slept in her big girl bed for the first time!  We're so proud of you sweetie!
