I didn't realize I was distracted until I got home. I had one errand to run today to get ready for our family photo with my parents and Hailey tomorrow. I took the kids to Target to get a purple scarf. It always takes a few minutes to get out of the car because I have to transfer Sofia from her car seat to the stroller car seat. I was rushing more because a car was waiting for me to move. When we got in, I was so excited because I found exactly what I wanted and quickly got in line to pay. Linnea was asking for stickers and I was trying to keep her out of the candy and gum. Afterwards I treated myself to a delicious latte at the in-store Starbucks and apple juice for Linnea. When I got home I realized I had forgotten the bag at the store checkout line. Shoot! It's such a pain to go back to places. So after the girls' nap, we started the process all over again and I now have the purple scarf. Then later that day I made chocolate chip cookies with Linnea and put 1 cup instead of 2 cups of flour, so they turned out really flat! Nathan said, "Are you pregnant?" Ha Ha! Maybe they're such a thing as postnatal brain. :)
