Olivia Visits Us

Last week Olivia came over for 2 days to play with us while her mom and dad were at work.  Olivia is a smart, helpful and friendly 7 year old, who Linnea adores.  Olivia was immediately mauled by a very excited Linnea when she arrived.  It's strange how your kids will act one way with you, and then are totally different with other people.  She was bouncing off the walls with excitement.  The days went by really fast because there were so many things to do and keep us entertained.  We walked to Sandel Park to play.  Olivia is so much faster than Linnea and would run for place to place while Linnea tried to keep up.  At home we baked cookies (girls helped measure and pour), Olivia read books to Linnea (she's an amazing reader!) and played with our toys.  Olivia and I played the Adventures game on the Kinect.  She wrote down all her scores in her journal, so cute!  The second day we went to the zoo and so did the rest of city.  We spent nearly 4 hours there enjoying the animals, ice cream and good weather.  Of course, Sofia was a big hit with Olivia.  She was interested in all the goings on of a baby, especially the dirty diapers.  Her mom, Deborah, is about to have her own little baby girl this month.  We talked about how she can help her mom out by getting her things for the baby, holding her and playing with the baby.  Thanks for the fun visit Olivia!  We're praying for your family and your new little sister!
